This nationwide event features activities across multiple venues, connecting the startup community and shaping the future of the Philippines' startup ecosystem.
Key discussions will cover funding strategies for Filipino startups, support for women-led innovations, leveraging AI and emerging technologies, and incorporating sustainability into business practices.
PHSW24 will also feature sessions from the ISA Steering Committee’s founding agencies, highlighting achievements and future plans for the startup ecosystem.
Among the highlight events are the return of Geeks on a Beach, an international conference for startups and technology enthusiasts; the Pivotal: Rise of SEA Tech conference, which focuses on technology’s future in Southeast Asia; the Startup Pinay x Foundher conference, dedicated to empowering female entrepreneurs; and Greenovation Nation, a session focused on sustainability in business and innovation.
The event will also spotlight the year’s most promising Filipino startups through the Pivotal 25, QBO’s Game-Changing Startups for 2024, and the second KMC Startup Awards.
Additional community events, organized by partners such as Villgro Philippines, ICEBOX TBI, and Startup QC, will drive regional growth and collaboration within the broader startup ecosystem.
Over 2,000 attendees are expected, along with 150+ speakers and 120+ startups.
"The sixth edition of Philippine Startup Week aims to broaden our horizon, fostering innovation within the Philippines and strengthening connections across Southeast Asia.
With investments in Filipino startups on the rise after the 'funding winter,' we are committed to empowering local entrepreneurs to make a significant regional impact," said DOST Usec Leah Buendia, Chairwoman of the ISA Steering Committee.
Since its start in 2019, PHSW has become the largest startup conference in the Philippines, showcasing over 350 startups and attracting more than 155,000 participants, including startup founders, investors, and government agencies.
