AboitizPower Scores A Three-Peat With Golden Arrow Award

For the third consecutive year, Aboitiz Power Corporation (AboitizPower) has received the prestigious Golden Arrow Award, marking its continued excellence in corporate governance.

This year, the company secured a 3-arrow recognition, having garnered an impressive score of 107.11 out of a possible 130 in the 2023 ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS) assessment for publicly listed companies.

The ACGS measures performance across various governance aspects, including shareholder rights, stakeholder relations, transparency, and board accountability. The 3-arrow distinction highlights AboitizPower's alignment with international best practices and the Philippine Code of Corporate Governance.

AboitizPower’s commitment to environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) principles is deeply ingrained in its operations and corporate philosophy. As a major power producer in the Philippines, the company balances a diverse portfolio of renewable and thermal power generation facilities.

This commitment supports the nation’s goal of achieving a 35% share of renewable energy in the power generation mix by 2030.

AboitizPower is on track to reach 4,600 MW, with nearly 1,000 MW of disclosed projects in solar, hydro, geothermal, and wind energy.
