Finance Secretary Ralph G. Recto has been appointed by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. as Special Envoy and Head of the Philippine delegation to the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland, from January 20–24, 2025.

Themed “Collaboration for the Intelligent Age,” the 2025 WEF Annual Meeting will gather nearly 3,000 global leaders from 130 countries, including heads of state, business executives, and international organization representatives.

The WEF will feature the Philippine Breakfast Interaction, showcasing the country’s potential as a prime investment destination, buoyed by the CREATE MORE Act.
