Germany intends to allocate approximately €2 billion in subsidies to semiconductor companies, according to Bloomberg.


While specific details remain undisclosed, the investment aims to significantly enhance production capabilities within the sector.


Earlier this month, Germany's Economic Ministry invited semiconductor firms to submit subsidy applications. However, the total funding available will be finalized after the country's upcoming election, expected in February 2025.
