Sunil Mittal, CEO of Movate, articulated that this objective aligns with the company's global aspiration to double its revenues and workforce in the coming years.
Presently, the company's operations in the Philippines employ over 3,000 individuals, including the 1,200 personnel from TSD Global, a CX services firm recently acquired by Movate.
"We currently have 3,000 employees, and the plan is to reach 6,000 within the next three years," revealed Mittal, highlighting that the new delivery center in Antipolo City has a capacity of 650 seats.
On a global scale, Movate boasts a workforce of 11,000 spread across various countries including the United States, India, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Poland, South Africa, and Mauritius.
Mittal underscored, "The Philippines holds significant importance in our growth trajectory. We chose Antipolo due to its favorable business climate, abundant labor, robust infrastructure, skilled workforce, and conducive business environment."
He emphasized that the decision to establish the center outside Metro Manila aligns with the Philippine government's agenda to stimulate economic growth in other regions of the country.
The company intends to explore additional locations with strong talent pools and infrastructure capabilities, Mittal stressed.
Earlier, the Contact Center Association of the Philippines disclosed that the industry aims to secure a 2.3-million workforce share out of the 2.5 million full-time employees projected for the entire information technology (IT) and business process outsourcing (BPO) sector by 2028.
