With this year's theme, "Synergy: Building Ecosystems for Greatness," Lead-In 2022 empowered industry leaders to assist them in adopting an ecosystems-based strategy for thriving and expanding in the current environment.

Globe Business reminded us through a day of enlightening talks and discussions that in an organization, as with other things, none of us exist in a vacuum. In order for an organization to be successful, each individual is reliant on others to fulfill a variety of roles.

Harmony is achieved by fostering a culture of symbiosis and synergy among stakeholders. The outcome is a thriving ecosystem that drives businesses to achieve their objectives and, ultimately, national progress.

The forum began with a CEO Brunch, which served as a venue for the country's top executives to share their experiences and insights about collaborative leadership. They ate a hearty meal while discussing the essential components of a culture of symbiosis and synergy that allows all stakeholders to flourish.

Serendipity and Synergy are intertwined

The keynote speaker for Lead-In 2022 is an internationally renowned authority on innovation, purpose-driven leadership, and serendipity. Dr. Christian Busch, bestselling author of "The Serendipity Mindset" and professor at New York University, explained why a culture of symbiosis and synergy allows everyone to prosper.

Busch emphasized the significance of serendipity, the premise of his best-selling book, and how to create favorable conditions for "smart luck" as opposed to "blind luck." This relates to how promoting a culture of ecosystems can result in success, not only for the benefit of the individual, but also for the collective good.

As a champion of digital transformation and a proponent of diversity, she is committed to advancing Filipino talent, particularly women, into key leadership positions and bringing underserved, undermotivated external youth onto the STEM track. She demonstrated that a shared objective and collaborative spirit can motivate individuals to take action. Collectively, this results in exponential growth and development.

Developing Shared Worth

During his presentation, Sharing the concept of Shared Value with stakeholders and partners, Don Rae, Senior Advisor for Globe Business, Enterprise Group, elaborated on the greater good that can be achieved by contributing more as companies assume greater social responsibility.

This seemingly altruistic motivation is also a strategic one, as it lies at the heart of a company's growth and sustainability. By creating shared value, businesses increase their propensity and proficiency for forming unique, mutually beneficial partnerships outside the organization.
