An MSNBC panel was recently stunned by the 170,000 volunteers who have signed up for the campaign of Vice President Kamala Harris and the 2,300 events scheduled in battleground states in just four days, Tom Boggioni reported for Raw Story.

Kicking off the segment, MSNBC's Symone Sanders-Townsend pointed out to her co-host Michael Steele that the registration of 170,000 volunteers and the scheduling of more than 2,300 events are unprecedented and represent snowballing support for Harris.
The Vice President has already sewn up the presidential nomination of the Democratic Party after President Joe Biden graciously gave way.
"Vice President Kamala Harris is hitting the ground not just running but literally sprinting because it is just about 100 days that she has to make her case to the people," Sanders-Townsend explained.
She added that the Harris campaign is organizing more than 250 offices in battleground states. That led co-host Steele to speak to guest Tara Setmayer, a former GOP strategist.
“As Symone mentioned, 170,000 people, think about that, volunteered within a three or four day span to work on her campaign, raised well over $100 million, and seemingly has started to get under Donald Trump's skin," he added.
"There is one word and it is reinvigorated," Setmayer replied. "The country, the voters, the Democratic base is reinvigorated. That is evidenced by what we have seen since last Sunday. It hasn't even been a week, people — it hasn't even been a week."
