Democratic U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris holds a narrow 46% to 43% lead over Republican former President Donald Trump, according to a new Reuters/Ipsos poll. Jason Lange reported this for Reuters.

Harris' slight advantage in the six-day poll, which concluded on Monday, is consistent with her 45% to 42% lead in a Reuters/Ipsos poll conducted a week earlier, underscoring the razor-thin nature of the race with just two weeks left before the November 5 election.
Both polls show Harris with a lead within the margin of error, with the latest showing her ahead by just 2 percentage points when using unrounded figures.
The poll revealed widespread voter dissatisfaction with the state of the economy and immigration.
About 70% of registered voters said their cost of living was heading in the wrong direction, 60% said the economy was on the wrong track, and 65% expressed dissatisfaction with immigration policy.
Trump performed better on economic and immigration issues, but fared poorly on addressing political extremism and threats to democracy, with Harris leading 42% to 35% on that question.
Harris also led on abortion and healthcare policies.
