Listed D&L Industries Recognized For Corporate Governance

D&L Industries was recognized alongside other top publicly listed companies in the Philippines by the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) for its outstanding corporate governance practices, as evaluated by the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS).

This marks the fifth consecutive year that D&L Industries has received such recognition from the ICD.

The ACGS measures companies' performance in areas such as facilitating the rights and equitable treatment of shareholders and how they engage with different stakeholders.

The purpose is to ensure transparency and accountability through timely disclosure of material information, how the board strategically guides the company, monitors management, and upholds the board's accountability to both the company and its shareholders.

The ICD is a non-stock, non-profit national association of corporate directors and other stakeholders engaged in corporate governance.

Its mission is to champion good corporate governance and stewardship for the benefit of society. It aims to be a key catalyst in the Philippine corporate governance ecosystem, promoting inclusive and sustainable development.

“We are deeply honored to receive this prestigious recognition from the ICD,” said D&L President & CEO Alvin Lao.

“This year, we received a two-arrow recognition, an improvement from last year’s one-arrow recognition, which signifies our constant pursuit of excellence as an organization,” Lao added.

“At D&L, we see the value of maintaining the highest standards of corporate governance. We believe it is the cornerstone of building a sustainable and enduring organization,” Lao concluded.
