Medical City, AXA PH Partner To Bring Quality Healthcare To GHA Members

The Medical City (TMC) and AXA Philippines officially sealed their partnership in the recently held MOA signing conference at The Medical City Nursing Tower, Ortigas.

The partnership enables members of AXA’s Global Health Access (GHA) VIPs to avail themselves of TMC’s services such as emergency care, outpatient services, annual physical exams, executive checkups, laboratory tests, in-patient services, TMC Hostel, and other healthcare services that members may need.

AXA, one of the largest and fastest-growing insurance companies in the Philippines, serves over 1 million individuals through its group and individual life and general insurance products.

With the primary purpose of ‘protecting what matters,’ the insurance company offers a wide range of products and services for clients that encompass savings, retirement, personal protection, and health protection products.

The primary goal of AXA’s GHA insurance plan is to ensure that members experience best-in-class medical services with customized benefits that fit the members’ health needs.

“The intent of the program today is really bringing the AXA Philippines and The Medical City together and making sure that we will have the best medical facility for our customers in AXA. Our customer’s health is number one in our priority, and having a partnership with a great medical facility like The Medical City is at the top-most of our list,” said Kathleen C. Villegas-Driz, AXA Philippines chief operations officer (COO), during the MOA signing.

TMC is currently the largest healthcare network in the country, with its main facility in Ortigas, Pasig City, four provincial hospitals, and over 50 clinics in Metro Manila and select provinces, all operating under a single brand.

Atty. Martin P. Samson, TMC chief operations officer (COO), mentioned in his speech that TMC Ortigas has a program specially developed for AXA in which VIP members “will definitely feel the distinct patient experience at The Medical City.”

Through the partnership, AXA VIP members – GHA Platinum and Gold* Policyholders (*excluding Gold Lite Plus and Gold Lite) can have access to quality healthcare that encompasses preventive and curative care and services at TMC Ortigas, said TMC vice president and Enterprise Head of Managed Care Department, Lawrence Y. Sibayan.
