The Manila Electric Co., or Meralco, announced that it restored electricity to areas affected by Typhoon Aghon at 10:00 p.m. on May 28, following the restoration of all its circuits and primary lines.

“With almost 100% service back in all affected areas, we are now down to the last mile as we work on restoring power to the remaining households in far-flung areas as part of our mopping-up operations,” said Meralco Spokesperson and Head of Corporate Communications Joe R. Zaldarriaga.
"For customers in the affected areas who still don't have power, we urge them to report this to our customer touchpoints and rest assured that service will be restored soon," he added.

Most of the affected customers are in Quezon and Laguna, while the rest are in parts of Batangas, Cavite, Metro Manila, Rizal, and Bulacan.
