Throbbing with innovation, Metro Pacific Health is upgrading infrastructure, procuring new equipment, and expanding product and service offerings as ‘it goes on’ its mission to transform the vast Philippine medical landscape.
In Metro Pacific Health’s Brand Equity Launch Event yesterday (October 12, 2022), tycoon Manny V. Pangilinan (MVP) announced that the organization will be focusing its efforts on network expansion and rebranding as the heart of Filipino healthcare.
In his speech keynoting the rebranding launch at the New World Hotel, Pangilinan said, “I have high hopes for Metro Pacific Health, and I commit to firmly supporting the Management teams and employees behind the organization. Together, we will achieve our vision of making Metro Pacific Health the leading and most valued integrated healthcare network in the Philippines, and one of Asia’s most innovative and trusted healthcare providers.”
Since its initial investment in Makati Medical Center in 2007, Metro Pacific Health has expanded to become the Philippines' largest private hospital group. It owns 19 hospitals in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao with a total bed capacity of over 3,300.
It has also made investments in allied health colleges, a network of expanding cancer care centers, and a central clinical laboratory.
The country's leading healthcare group is rebranding as part of its growth strategy to expand services to better meet customer needs, modernize healthcare with cutting-edge technology in medical science and data, enhance the end-to-end patient experience, and make world-class quality healthcare more accessible to many Filipinos.
“We’re exploring remote patient monitoring, electronic health record systems, hospital-at-home programs, and all these exciting opportunities that will revolutionize patient care in the country,” said MPH CEO Dr. Harish Pillai.
In addition, Metro Pacific Health plans to introduce new virtual care platforms and upgrade hospital information systems to create an integrated digital access point – with the ability to digitally search for and schedule appointments, virtually triage symptoms, navigate to the appropriate site of care, and access electronic medical records across its entire network.
