NTT Group Partners With ClimateForce To Create World’s First Smart Rainforest

NTT Group and ClimateForce have joined forces to create the world’s first Smart Rainforest.

This groundbreaking initiative aims to regenerate a section of Australia’s Daintree Rainforest, utilizing NTT’s innovative Smart Management Platform (SMP) technology.

The collaboration promises not only to breathe new life into this vital ecosystem but also to establish sustainable and replicable models for global environmental restoration efforts.

The Daintree Rainforest, situated adjacent to the Great Barrier Reef, has long suffered from the effects of agricultural clearing and invasive species. 

ClimateForce, an Australian charity committed to scalable, sustainable solutions, has been leading efforts to regenerate the area. Now, with NTT's sponsorship, the project will leverage advanced AI, data analytics, and predictive modeling to optimize reforestation techniques and monitor progress in real-time.

The partnership will allow NTT DATA to provide critical operational and fundraising support, in addition to financial contributions to secure the land's regeneration.
