PREMIER CEBU PARK OPENS

Anjo World, a premier amusement park in Minglanilla, Cebu is opening its facility after a six-month suspension with health protocols in place.

The opening of the facility is seen to be patronized by local tourists , now the target of Anjo World, specially the families who are expected to go out after being in lockdown for a period of six months due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

During the reopening rites last Friday, officials of  Anjo World said the amusement facility opened its doors with caution and advised visitors to observe minimum health and safety standards while enjoying rides and other amenities.

The  facility implements several health and safety measures such as operating at 50 percent capacity, frequent hand washing and sanitizing physical distancing, and temperature checking.

The guests are also asked to fill up health declaration for contact tracing and asked to comply with the mandatory wearing of face mask. The park is also implementing non-contact access of entry and exit points, contact-less ordering of food, and frequent disinfection of facilities and rides.

"Local tourism will start to pick up as Cebu continues the trend of flattening the curve. The reopening of Anjo World will also help institutions in its value-chain such as restaurants, food carts, and suppliers," said Anjo World President, Chester Lim.

“Since international tourism will take time to reopen, we expect a boom in our local tourism towards the last quarter of this year, especially during the Christmas season. People will start to go out as we have been locked down for too long and we deserve a break to reward ourselves, spend time with our families and friends,” added Lim.

Anjo World is being positioned as Cebu’s top family destination and a safer theme park for all.
