Robinsons Hotels Announces PHP10 Billion Investment In Luxury Portfolio Development

Robinsons Hotels and Resorts (RHR), a business unit of Robinsons Land Corporation, has announced plans to invest over PHP 10 billion in the coming years to significantly expand its upscale and ultra-luxury portfolio.

This investment includes the launch of the ultra-luxury hotel NuStar in Cebu, the lifestyle brand Grand Summit in key locations such as Cebu and Pangasinan, and Fili, the first and only Filipino-owned five-star hotel brand, in Bridgetowne, Metro Manila, according to a company disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE).

The company emphasized that these developments will not only strengthen Robinsons Hotels and Resorts' position as a leader in the hospitality sector but will also elevate its status among globally recognized brands, catering to a broad range of market segments.

The PHP 10-billion investment is expected to drive long-term growth, enhance guest experiences, and establish RHR as a key player in the country’s thriving tourism and real estate sectors, the company added.

The company also shared that Fili Hotel has been recognized for its architectural design, winning the Best Hospitality Architectural Design award at the 18th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards.

Meanwhile, the NuStar ultra-luxury hotel brand caters to discerning local and international guests seeking personalized, world-class experiences.

RHR also highlighted that its Grand Summit Hotel Gensan, which opened in 2021, offers a deep connection with local culture. Two more Grand Summit properties are set to open in Cebu and Pangasinan.
